Assalamu alaykum my dear sister,
I'm Yasmin Djendel, I'm English and reverted to Islam about 32 years ago.
Ahumdulil'llah it's the best thing that I've ever committed to.

Growing up I was a very self-confident, ambitious, career-minded go-getter.
Shortly after owning and running my own clothing factory in London at the age of 24
I welcomed the challenges of being a wife and mother.
It was while I was home-educating my children that I came across mindfulness
and meditation and I began to practice daily.
I LOVE studying, enjoy going for walks in nature, doing my 15 minute workouts in the
morning, meditation, being around funny people and meeting up with my dear sisters.
I also love spending quality time with my growing family.

My journey is one of self-confidence, ambition and professional success to anxiety,

confusion and self-doubt to reclaiming my identity and self-worth… to giving

myself permission to be happy and thrive again alhumduli'llah.

You see, for about 20 years I felt confused, tense and exhausted. I often found myself

screaming at the walls, crying into my pillow and sometimes wanting to just get up

and leave. But worst of all I hated who I had become.

On the outside everything looked fine, we lived in a big house, drove expensive cars,

the children went to private school, and I knew that I had to be strong for them.

However, I felt really disappointed, unvalued and alone.

But there were good times too, so in the eye of the storms I was able to focus

on self discovery and self development.

I love studying and came across a Mindfulness Course.

I began practicing the very simple, yet powerful techniques. Through practicing

mindfulness, and developing a formal meditation practice, I developed self-

awareness, awareness of others and began to trust myself and my intuition again.

I regained my self confidence and took back the power to be responsible for my own

happiness, energy and emotions. I learnt to be fully present in the relationship

but also learnt to be emotionally and spiritually independent.

I built an amazing toolkit that allows me to choose how I want to feel, how I

want to respond and how I turn up for myself and others. This has had

a huge impact on all areas of my life: my physical and mental well-being,

my relationships, my creativity, sleep, focus and concentration

and more importantly my spirituality.

You too can step off of the emotional roller coaster and attain

peace of mind, calm and composure.

I became, how Dr Ramani Durvasula describes narcissistically immune folks,

a "rare zen scholar that has narcissistic antibodies "

AND THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU!

If you want your outside world to change, first you

must change what is in the inside.

What qualifies me to work with you…

In 2015 I enrolled in a self-development program. It was an absolute game changer!

About that time too I discovered free online learning platforms and completed many

courses. In 2018, while I was home educating my two youngest sons, I signed

up for a TEFL course that came with two Mindfulness Certification courses.

I was sceptical at first, but soon discovered that mindfulness and meditation are

deeply rooted in Islamic tradition and the science behind it is astonishing.

I began to practice the techniques.

They had such a profound impact on my life that I studied as much as I could.

I have completed many courses: from Mindfulness Practitioner Course - Master Level,

Mindfulness Life Coach, Meditation Coach and Facilitator, Spiritual Life Coach,

Mindfulness at Work, Mindfulness and Eating Disorders, numerous 8-Week MBSR

courses, to Being an Exponential Coach, I also consumed many books

and videos about mindfulness, meditation and coaching.

I discovered my purpose in life: to share this knowledge and my experience with

other women. I developed my own Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Coaching

Program with an Islamic perspective. My speciality is helping women heal & thrive

from difficult relationships. Alhumduli'llah my clients all experience great results.

However, it wasn't until I invested in my own coach and was also awarded a mentor

through Muslim Women Connect (MWC) that I was 'encouraged' to, what I call

'dance with my dragons' and do some deep inner-work.

Another turning point!

With their support I was able to accept my own shameful secret regarding the

struggles that I had in my own life. But also I had not given myself any credit for

bringing so much energy and positivity into the world, and making my marriage

work, and that I had educated four wonderful children on the straight path

through all the pain and struggle alhumduli'llah.

From that beautiful place I developed a more, in-depth Coaching Program. It focuses

on helping you to really connect with your inner-self, your intuition and your deepest

wisdom, allowing you to bring joy and compassion into your life in a calm,

confident and composed way. It's a beautiful, step-by-step, proven system.

When we edit our stories and update our beliefs

we have the power to rewrite our lives.
